Aerial Climbing Inspection

Detailed tree assessments—where ground-level surveys can’t reach.

Some defects can’t be seen from below. When there’s a concern about a tree’s upper structure—whether it’s the crown, stems, or primary branches—a ground-level inspection alone isn’t enough. That’s where our aerial climbing inspections come in.

Our experienced, qualified arborists carry out these inspections safely at height, providing a close-up evaluation of the tree’s structure, health, and any potential defects. We document our findings with high-resolution photographs and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

Aerial inspections are often triggered when initial ground surveys identify signs of concern in the upper crown. By climbing the tree, we can investigate more thoroughly—ensuring nothing critical is missed.

Visual Climbing Inspection

When a visual assessment from the ground raises questions, our team performs a climbed inspection to inspect the canopy, unions, and branch attachments up close. These inspections are carried out with full safety measures in place and provide a detailed understanding of tree condition—essential for managing risk on public or high-use sites.

Visual Inspection + Aerial Decay Detection

If there’s a risk of internal decay higher up in the tree, we combine aerial access with targeted decay detection. Using specialist tools like the RESI drill, we assess structural integrity in areas that can’t be tested from the ground—giving you a more complete picture of the tree’s safety.
